Delivery drivers are normally on the lookout for dogs, but one unsuspecting courier was caught on camera being ambushed by a cat.
CCTV footage filmed on February 24 in Warwickshire shows the super-friendly female tabby Buster giving the man a shock when she crept up behind him and then leapt onto his shoulders.
The stunned delivery driver walked around for a few seconds with the cat on his back before customer Bethan O’Brien came to the rescue and removed her.

Ms O’Brien can be seen grinning as she gently removed the tabby.
The delivery driver also smiled, grateful to be rescued by her.
Afterwards, Ms O’Brien said: ‘It was extremely funny, I laughed about it for days. Buster is a very friendly cat and must have wanted to say “hi”.
‘I did mention that she belonged to our neighbours. The delivery driver said he also had a cat but it never did that.’

And @millybear2020 added: ‘Lovely that he wasn’t mean to the floof, just accepted it.’
Another person wrote: ‘Fair play to the guy, he didn’t panic and was cool with it.’
Others remarked on how cats do not choose just anyone when they jump up on them.

Cats tend to pounce on their owners when they are looking for attention or want to play.

Claire Haynes, an animal behaviourist at national pet charity Blue Cross said: ‘All cats are different; whilst some might be more cautious or disinterested around unfamiliar people, some cats will be more confident to interact – depending on who they are as a cat, and their previous experiences with strangers.
